In an ongoing effort to educate the public about loons, we host a number of fun and informative events through the year, for example, talks, cruises, festivals, and fundraisers.

Annual Loon Festival

July 18 @ 10:00 - 14:00 EDT

Following the Annual Loon Census, join us at the Loon Center from 10 AM-2 PM for the Annual Loon Festival! The festival will feature fun for the whole family, including balloon animals, face painting, live animals, and a dunk tank where a correctly-answered loon trivia question will earn you the chance to dunk an LPC biologist.

The Squam Lakes Natural Science Center will have a Discovery Table full of interesting wildlife artifacts you can get your hands on, and will present some live animals to learn about. NH LAKES will host a display where you can learn about lake ecology.

We hope to see you there!

The Loon Festival will be held at The Loon Center (183 Lees Mill Road in Moultonborough).
