Summer Nature Talk: Winter Ice Rescue with John Cooley (LPC)

Join LPC Senior Biologist John Cooley for a gripping look at LPC’s winter ice rescues. Hear the stories of these critical operations that save loons trapped by sudden freezes. Learn what these high-stakes encounters reveal about loo nlife history, the value of rescue teamwork, and the growing threat loons face from a changing climate.

This presentation will be held on Thursday, July 30th from 7-8 PM at The Loon Center (183 Lees Mill Road in Moultonborough, NH).  It will be held in person only. We hope to see you there!
