The loons have decided it’s time to get things going. They copulated at least twice around 6 am this morning. Mating typically continues for a few days and the loons usually visit the nest site early each morning so it might be worth it for early risers to watch the live feed while you have your coffee. It will probably be at least a few days to a week before any eggs are laid.
