Join us at The Loon Center (183 Lees Mill Road in Moultonborough, NH) for the first of our 2023 Summer Nature Talks! Dr. Mark Pokras, Wildlife Veterinarian and Associate Professor Emeritus of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, and a long-time collaborator with the Loon Preservation Committee, will discuss the long history of human/loon interactions, scientific research efforts, and the origins of the modern loon conservation movement.
In an ongoing effort to educate the public about loons, we host a number of fun and informative events through the year, for example, talks, cruises, festivals, and fundraisers.
