Interested in learning more about loons? Join us at the Oscar Foss Memorial Library on May 18th from 6:00–7:00 PM! This presentation is open to the public and free of charge. Our presentations typically run 45 minutes, with time left at the end for questions. Topics discussed include basic loon biology, nesting and chick rearing, threats to loons, and the work being done to preserve and protect New Hampshire’s loon population.
In an ongoing effort to educate the public about loons, we host a number of fun and informative events through the year, for example, talks, cruises, festivals, and fundraisers.
