Join us for a night of camaraderie and information about New Hampshire’s loons! This event runs from 5:30—8:00 PM and consists of three different segments. Join us for one or all segments!
5:00 PM: Gather & Setup
5:30 PM: Volunteer Appreciation Potluck—This section of the night is intended to allow LPC staff to check in with and express our appreciation for all of the volunteers whose dedication makes our work possible. Interested in attending this segment of the night? Please RSVP to volunteers@loon.org to let us know what you’d like to bring!
6:45 PM: Annual Meeting and 2023 Spirit of the Loon Award
7:00 PM: 2023 Loon Report— Following the annual meeting, LPC Senior Biologist/Executive Director, Harry Vogel, will present trends in New Hampshire’s loon population and preliminary statistics on how loons fared in the state this summer. Wildlife photographer, John Rockwood, will share photos and video of local loon families from two southern New Hampshire lakes, from their arrival in the spring through August.
The 2023 Loon Report will be offered virtually as well—to access the virtual presentation, join us on our YouTube channel (youtube.com/looncenter) at 7 PM.
