The Season Begins

The 2018 LPC Loon Cam is now live! Same lake as the successful pair last year. The loons are already interested in the nest site and this video shows them inspecting the area on May 3rd. You can see one of the loons pecking at the new mic. This year we installed a mic just a few feet from and directed toward the nest. This should allow us to keep the mic on full-time without the nearby human sounds being too distracting.
