LoonCam Challenge – Hatch Guessing Contest
It’s time for the annual Hatch Time Guessing Contest, generously run by longtime LoonCam watcher and LPC volunteer, Bill Puddicombe! He’s even purchased some fun loon-themed mugs as prizes for those who come closest to guessing when each chick will make its debut.
For contest purposes, “hatch time” means the first sighting of a fully hatched chick on the LoonCam 2 camera, as determined by the LPC team.
When you submit your guess, it will be sent to Bill P., and then your browser will take you to the LoonCam Fundraising page. While a donation is not required, it’s part of the tradition, and a wonderful way to say thanks to LPC for making the LoonCam possible. Contributions will go towards the Loon Recovery Program, which saves the lives of many loons each year.
Want to go straight to the donation page? You can do that anytime at https://loon.org/donate-looncam/.
Let the guessing begin—and good luck!
Contest ends at Noon – Sunday June 22
